Job Description
As a welder for Tria you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality steel products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret and work from controlled documentation/ drawings to ensure product is built to specifications
- Able to do SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding) and flux cored arc welding (FCAW)
- Setup jobs and related components for welding as per production schedule and associated specifications
- Align components using calipers, rulers, tape measures and clamp pieces
- Operate various equipment used in production process
- Weld steel components using manual or semi-automated welding equipment. Vertical, horizontal, overhead.
- Actively support the organization’s HSE program by following all policies and procedures.Follow all policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in blueprint reading
- Any experience in metal fabrication and tool operations would be considered an asset
- Tickets for Forklift, overhead crane, confined spaces, and working at heights an asset
Requirements
- Current criminal record check and child abuse registry check
- Clear drug and alcohol test
- 3 supervisory references
Preferred
- Able to walk and stand on feet for extended period
- Able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs
- Able to crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
